QU has heard from a „French source“ that Svala Sigurdardottir, wife of Icelandic Handball-Player Robert Gunnarsson is an absolute Paris-Lover. Although she has been there for only 2 years now it seems that she knows Paris much better than the Parisians themselves. Be inspired!
I love Paris, I felt like home here from day one, it is as energetic as me;). I love this city, and its energetic vibes, you can do so much here, the museums are endless, the concerts and jazz bars, restaurants… I could go on and on! You can probably find all those places somewhere in the travel guides, but I do have my favourites:
As a coffee snob I have to mention my two favourite coffee houses are COUTUME, which also serves a great brunch, also very kid friendly and KB coffee (some call it Kokaborta).
- Coutume: 47 Rue de Babylone, 75007 Paris, (Metro 10 or 12 to Sevres Babyolone)
- KB: 56 rue des martyrs 75009 Paris, (Metro 12 abbesses)
I love so many restaurants here in the city, like the sushi bar Blueberry and the big Miss KO, but if you want a hidden secret I recommend these ones:
- GODJO 8 Rue de l’Ecole Polytechnique, 75005 Paris
African restaurant, nothing fancy, you eat with your hands – but the food is great!
- Pamela popo 15 Rue François Miron, 75004 Paris
A great restaurant with lots of good dishes, French and other.
The cocktail bar PRESCRIPTION, is my all time favourite place to go out in Paris.
- PRESCRIPTION, 23 Rue Mazarine, 75006 Paris
and the Jazz bar:
- Chez papa jazz 3 Rue Saint-Benoît, 75006 Paris
As you can se, my favourite part of Paris is St Germain :). You can look at my blog, it is already a mini “trip advisor Paris” – I am translating it to English, but you can be sure, I only post good stuff there:)
